Welcome to Qing tea! We are Chinese tea lovers, and our aim is to provide people all over the world with the best Chinese teas, while on the other hand make the treasures of the Chinese (tea) culture available for everyone.

Our website consists out of two sections, one is the tea shop and the other is the tea library. In the tea shop you can find the Chinese teas we have found in our ongoing search for the best Chinese tea. Chinese tea can be divided into different types, in our tea shop we have made the following division: green tea, black tea, wulong tea, white tea, flower tea, yellow tea and pu-erh types of tea. In our tea library we provide people with practical information about tea, we also have translated (and are in the process of) classical Chinese tea books. Our wish is to enable everyone to take part in the evolving process of tea culture.

Chinese tea is more than just a plant or a drink, it is deeply connected with the Chinese culture and in a way with people in general. The making of good tea requires the cooperation between people and nature, only when people work in unison with nature can the goal of good tea be achieved. In fact not just the growing, harvesting, processing of tea is such a process, the simple brewing of a cup of tea is also the same.
