Lishan tea is among the superior quality Formosa Wulong teas. Originated from Li Mountain (Pear Mountain) in the central Taiwan, Lishan Wulong presents a unique fruity flavor and subtle infusion without any bitterness. Since it grows on higher altitude, a great amount of Lishan Wulong tea leaves are plucked by hand. The oxidation grade and roast grade are both light.

Appearance: Boldly and tightly shaped in glossy green color.

Liquid: Crystal honey green.

Taste: Light and soft mouth feeling. An identical fruity aftertaste holds on long. Savor alike glutinous rice accompanies.

Place of Origin: Jiayi County, Taiwan

Harvest: Winter, 2009

To brew Lishan Wulong, first fill the teaware such as gaiwan, yixing clay pot or porcelain teapot with 1/4 dry tea, then pour 95 degree hot water into the teaware. The first round the water is immediately discarded, this is to clean the tea of dust and other unwanted substances. After that 95 degree hot water can again be poured into the teaware. Steeping time for second round can be up to 5 seconds. Steeping time can be prolonged with each subsequent brew. This tea can be brewed for 6 rounds.
