These mini bricks come from Guchashan Company, literally Ancient Tea Mountain. It is a relatively new Puerh manufacturer in Xishuang Banna. Its board chairman was the director of state-run Dadugang Tea Farm. These mini Puerh bricks are seperately packed in a small color square box about 24mm each side. About 6g each brick. We both offer ripened and wild bricks, also useful for tasting the difference between riped and wild Puerh made by the same company, in the same year, and with similar material.
Appearance wild mini: Light brown color,obvious leaf strips obvious, silver pekoe and occasionally green younger leaves.
Appearance riped mini: Dark reddish brown color with golden tips. obvious leaf strips.
Infusion wild mini: Bright yellow orange
Infusion riped mini: Clear amber in color
Taste wild mini: Very active in mouth, quick brewing advised.
Taste riped mini: Plain and mellow, pure taste of cooked Puerh.

To brew Longyuan Puerh first put dry tea leaves (ratio leaves to water, 1:18) into the Yixing clay pot or ceramic gaiwan, then pour 100 degree water into the tea ware. Rinse the tea one or two times and discard all the liquid. Let it brew for 5 seconds for the first round and it is ready for drinking. Steeping time can be prolonged with each subsequent brew. This tea can be brewed for at least 6/7 rounds
